It's ok if 24 in 24 doesn't reach top 50. We did the challenge to learn a whole bunch and to raise awareness for next year's challenge - I think we succeeded in both goals ;) Next year's 24 in 24 is going to ROCK SOCKS.

I'm pretty new to NG and hadn't come across your music until Alice is Dead 3, and don't know what else to say except Wow. I've written music for a few projects in venues other then NG, and in my wildest dreams I can't imagine creating a more evocative and atmospheric composition. I've since listened to all your other audio and find them all enjoyable well executed and insidious, the melodies and lyrics really get into your head and pleasantly bounce around the memory banks.
How much license did you have with Alice is Dead? Were you asked to provide a certain style, tempo or feeling? How long did it come up with the piece?

Really glad you like my music! I was asked to create a really dark and moody song which was going to take place in a Wonderland nightclub. It took me a few days to come up with it, then multiple 'singing in the car sessions' to perfect the voice style (hehe). That's basically it. :)

Yeah, actually - here's a thought - both James and I are 24, and we kickstarted our 24 in 24 yearly challenge this year. Strange how stuff just works out that way.
