A September Update.

The game Alice is Dead 3 is out so make sure you go play it! Very cool game and very cool people to have worked with.

The 24 animation in 24 hours challenge is done and it was AMAZING!!! The community that came to support us were awesome! We met a whole bunch of great people with fantastic ideas and they really helped with the process

We didn't have space to mention what animations everyone inspired on the film, so here's the list:

Head Shot - (Started off as tomato sauce - Eammy)
(Turned into hot sauce - Danny)

Voice acting for the Toast & Cloud animations - Trixen (Brendan Barry-Cotter)

Here's some art that I really liked (and remembered to write the link down). I know there were others that drew while we were doing this, so if you have a link, let me know !

The music was so much fun to make too! While juggling reading the chat and helping James out with ideas and what-not, (getting food and coffee...) I managed to create 25 pieces of music, varying in mood for each animation James was creating. I've collated them all (as well as the intro and credit music) and they're available here to download

What's next? Well, I've got 3 projects that I have to finish without delay so I'm going to go off into my cave and do them. After that, 2 albums to finish and a Christmas Album as December is almost upon us!

Another thank you to all who came to support us! We'll be doing this again for sure!

Well, I hadn`t heard your songs before but after I played Alice is Dead I found out you are amazing!
oh yeah, and thanks for the "little gift" (the music) its the only thing that could act as a remember of that great game!

It's ok if 24 in 24 doesn't reach top 50. We did the challenge to learn a whole bunch and to raise awareness for next year's challenge - I think we succeeded in both goals ;) Next year's 24 in 24 is going to ROCK SOCKS.

And I'm totally stoked to have the song at #1 this week! Thanks to everyone who put it there! :D

I'm pretty new to NG and hadn't come across your music until Alice is Dead 3, and don't know what else to say except Wow. I've written music for a few projects in venues other then NG, and in my wildest dreams I can't imagine creating a more evocative and atmospheric composition. I've since listened to all your other audio and find them all enjoyable well executed and insidious, the melodies and lyrics really get into your head and pleasantly bounce around the memory banks.
How much license did you have with Alice is Dead? Were you asked to provide a certain style, tempo or feeling? How long did it come up with the piece?
Kudos and best of luck with your upcoming projects.

Really glad you like my music! I was asked to create a really dark and moody song which was going to take place in a Wonderland nightclub. It took me a few days to come up with it, then multiple 'singing in the car sessions' to perfect the voice style (hehe). That's basically it. :)
