Flying to USA in 12.5 hours...

Posted by hania - April 18th, 2012

James, our mate Casey and I are moving to USA for 12 months. We fly in about 12.5 hours (22 hour flight... gah) so we're running around madly packing the extra things we will probably end up forgetting ;)

I thought I'd take the time to stop and let you all know that for this reason, I have not submitted much in the last few months. It has been stupid-crazy trying to prepare for this relocation that I haven't had a chance to finish anything. There's a lot in the pipeline though and I'll have all the time in the world once we set ourselves up in the States so... I'll make up for it ;)

To all those who live in America, see you soon. ;)

see u soon

What state are you headed to?

Hope you pick a comfortable airplane for such a long flight, I know how tiring such a long air trip can be. And yes, we are curios as to what state you are moving too.

Qantas. Did the job well
:)

I didn't know that on long flights, you're able to just go into the plane's kitchen area and grab yourself a snack or two (or three or four) ... if I had only known about this the other 4 times I flew to and from USA and to Europe... *shakes fist

So we were aiming for NYC. But ended up in Hoboken NJ (which is lovely too) and only 8 minutes from NYC, with about 50% off the price tag on the apartment we're renting. Very cool.

Let me be the first to welcome you to the states :D

welcome and yes what state are you moving to :)

It was NY, but we opted for NJ as it's only 8 minutes train into Manhattan. *SMILES

Awesome, I'll be keeping my ears out for your music.

Welcome to New York in about 10 hours.

Hmm...I think I should take a trip to NY...

Anyways, Welcome to America!!! ( ^_^ )v

Thanks! :D And yes, come visit!!

Welcome to the USA! I remixed your Haru Song, but for some reason it won't let me post it to NG, says it's not a valid .mp3 file, when .mp3 is CLEARLY the extension. So... here's the link to it.

Free download, as I only made the beat behind it. I'm not the greatest, but I'm working on getting better. Let me know what you think!

Its so nice to see that you are still active. Its been quite a while since i have been on NG, and longer still since I've hear your lovely voice. I thought of you recently due to events in my life. Can you believe that my most recently heard song from you is burden from like 07? God, i dont even know what to say at this point except that i wish you all the luck you can possibly have in you music making career

But WHERE in the US? :P

Initially New York. But we settled for Hoboken NJ ;)

YOU
ARE
ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Hania,

Hoping you and yours an amazing journey these next 12 months. Just think, the money you bring in will be worth more than the US Dollar. :)

If you go touring and need a guide through Nashville, or the surrounding area, feel free to look me up.

I hope you walk into one of the open mic night bars & blow the competition away. You never know who you will run into when you are there. Some of the most famous people got started small.

That's pretty awesome. Just keep making your music. :)
