It took me 11 hours to make, on a Friday. It's my first Newgrounds Movie Portal submission, I don't expect to win awards, but today is a really special day for me. I've always wanted to start animating and I'm finally gutsy enough to try.

Really great animation, completely hilarious song. More frames is always nice, but honestly simplistic animations aren't just bad because they are simplistic. Especially one like this where the video is made for the song rather than the other way around. It was good, but especially good considering it's your first. I look forward to seeing more!

That was a waste of .mp4, and the song was really annoying to listen to. I know that you have incredible singing skills, but watch some of McFretN's old submissions, or the old Fleischer/Warner/Terry-toons; Listen to Penta, <a href="http://hhoulding.newgrounds.com/audio">http://hhoulding.newgrounds.com/audio</a>, Cybotron, or the Dead Kennedys; or Read The Best Page in the Universe. I may be harsh when necissary, but I try to be fair and constructive as possible.
Thanks for the advise! I'm really sorry that you didn't like the song and thought that the video was a waste of .mp4. :( I was actually kind of proud of my first attempt at putting together a 3 minute animation in one day. Never fear though; I'll practice, and get better. :D
I think its a good start, and the song definitely makes it worth watching. Practice doing more frame by frame animation and it will look better.
Absolutely! From the reviews I've received so far, it's backgrounds and more frame by frame stuff that I really need to focus on in my next animation. Thanks for being so supportive! :)
What program did you use anyway? It doesn't look like flash. It looks more like after effects or something.

You're going to laugh at this... but it was: Draw stuff in photoshop, put it into premier. *hides
Not bad for a first. id work on the frames and artwork a little more ^^

Nope, just was in Photoshop and premier at the time so I just went with it. Flash next! :D

This is pretty much everything I would hope it be for the video. Like when I matched this video to what I expected it to be (in my head) it almost completely matches up so that's really amazing. I'm sure your work will only go up from here!
It was fun. funny but highly under-polished and the animation was a conglomeration of 12 tweens and a few scenes of frame by frame. the art work is stylized i get that. but it still came of as slightly lazy. 6 years ago i would have nothing but praise but the standards have risen over time. i looked at your actual artwork you spend days if not months on that work do you not? treat an animation the same way.
You have an amazing grasp on the musical aspect i loved the zaniness. the lyrics where well done and I say kudos on the lack of PC in the use of your language we need more of that. people are offended to easily because they can complain and get affirmative action.

I meant for them to be kind with their honesty :p And you're a prime example of just that. So I thank you ! :) Just a question though about the other art of mine that you're referencing; I'm not sure which art you're referring to as the stuff I spend days/months on? This is the first art that I've submitted to newgrounds; the rest is music. :)
It was my first attempt at ALL things animation and I had a day to do it so I could submit it for my 'Music Monday' weekly thingy that I do... so I kind of put myself into that corner. I could totally spend more time on animations in future; and I will! This one was just one of those 'give it, I got it!' situations. ;)
I have SO much to learn; it's cool that everyone on here sees it for what it is though; a firsty. I'll get better as I go. And I'm taking everyone's opinions and suggestions on board! :D

song is hilarious, animation could be better. more movement instead of just jump cuts, but still better than just stick animations.

I 100% agree with you about it needing more movement rather than jump cuts! I feel like I "animated" using key frames rather than doing any in betweens. I don't know about the stick animations though... there are some bloody good ones out there! :p With practice, and steady uploads, I'm going to try my best to just keep getting better.
